    Engineer Tariq bin Ali Al-Hafzi, Deputy Governor of Operations at the Real Estate Authority, said that the authority had adopted it since its launch two years ago

    15 priorities, 18 initiatives, and 22 main indicators revolving around governance, sustainability, effectiveness, and partner service, in order for the real estate sector to be attractive, transparent, and vital, some of which entered into force.​

    ​Al-Hafz​i said during a meeting organized by the Eastern Chamber represented by the Real Estate and Real Estate Development Committee and moderated by the Chairman of the Committee, Eng. Hamid bin Hamri on Thursday 14/20/2020 that the Authority prepared draft regulations that serve this orientation in the fields of "real estate brokerage, real estate contributions, real estate registration, ownership, and real estate units and sorting them "With the aim of regulating and developing the sector, its governance and setting mechanisms for resolving disputes in conciliation and arbitration, and raising the attractiveness of investment in it.

    ​In this regard, and based on the authority’s approach to developing the sector by raising the level of its employees, Al-Hafzi touched on the academic arm of the authority, the Saudi Real Estate Institute for qualifying workers in the sector, and developing their capabilities to provide innovative real estate services, including real estate marketing, mediation, property management, and building sustainability, and prepared for that Twenty training curricula for capacity building, twenty-two thousand six hundred and eighty trainees benefited from them, pointing out that the Institute offers at present a discount on the cost of the courses it provides up to 90%, and the Institute continued to provide courses during the current period Remote mechanism.​

    ​Al-Hafzi referred to the Saudi Center for Arbitration, saying that the center affiliated with the authority is accredited to the reconciliation center at the Ministry of Justice and that the reconciliation records issued by him in resolving real estate disputes are considered an executive basis, adding that the center is electronically linked to the landlords union program and a rental platform, and it has contributed to a reconciliation with the proportion 44% of the disputes referred to him, indicating that the period of time for conciliation does not exceed 7 days and for arbitration more than 30 days.​

    ​He also talked about real estate classification and said that the authority set several criteria for classification, most notably that the establishment is able to provide real estate services in at least three activities, and works to localize and develop the capabilities of workers by passing the training courses provided by the real estate institute, pointing out that the classification certificate can Obtain it automatically within minutes if the required standards are met, 114 establishments obtained the classification certificate from the authority and 400 establishments are under the classification.

    Turning to the committee for the treatment of property errors registration, which is supervised by the authority and includes representatives from the Ministry of Justice and Municipal and Rural Affairs, which is concerned with receiving any requests related to the registration of real estate property, the committee has received through its website during the past three months 615 requests, 608 applications have been processed, and the rest is under procedure Al-Hafzi said that the authority launched the real estate indicators platform in partnership with the ministries of "Municipal and Rural Affairs, Housing and Justice" and the General Authority for Statistics. The platform includes non-price indicators and price indicators for real estate types, including the average prices of residential and commercial lands. Apartments and villas in the thirteen areas and in five cities to their neighborhoods.
